Although it is seen as a new affordable option, it still comes with a 50MP main camera that has optical image stabilisation. The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage is retailing for RM1,399 in Malaysia. For a limited time until 31st October, Samsung Malaysia is currently offering the device at RM300 off and you can get it for only RM1,099 via the Samsung Online Store. The Galaxy A23 5G is offered in three colours – Light Blue, Orange and Black, with a matte finish.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has a 6.6″ Full HD+ LCD display that supports a high 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip paired to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you need more storage, you can expand it further via microSD card up to 1TB.

For taking pictures, it gets a quad-camera setup at the rear. This includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and two 2MP cameras for macro and depth effects. The tiny V-shaped notch in front houses an 8MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy A23 5G supports 5GHz 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on Android 12 with One UI 4 skin on top.
