DNB : 5G network is now available in parts of Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak

Digital Nasional Berhad is the firm responsible for ensuring the development of network infrastructure for 5G in Malaysia. They have introduced the 5G network since the end of last year, and this year they aim to cover more than 40% of the populated areas in Malaysia.

Today, 5G networks are available in the Klang Valley, Putrajaya, Selangor, Perak, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Johor and also Penang.

In fact, apart from that, DNB has also offered 5G networks in some areas in Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak.

In terms of offering to the public, Yes has recently announced the offer in Melaka, while it has not yet been officially shared in Sabah and Sarawak. Although not officially stated, but users in selected areas in Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak should be able to enjoy the network.

According to a check on the DNB map, in Kelantan, the areas covered by the 5G network are in Ketereh and also Kampung Peringat.

In Sarawak, it is available around Petra Jaya, Tabuan Jaya, and Miri. In Sabah, it is around Telipok, and Donggongan.

For now, various telecommunications companies have started testing and offering 5G networks among general users - except Maxis.
